Antiek sieraden and Antique jewelry
Antieke sieraden are very popular among Holland. Many people rather buy antique jewelry than new jewelry because an antique is something special and sometimes even unique. There are a lof of different types of antique jewelry. The most famous are the art deco and the art nouveau jewelry. They were made around 1900 and were of exceptional beauty. They needed to be flamboyant and extravagant. They were made of precious materials like platiunum, pearls, diamants and gold. Another very well known type of antique jewelry is the Victorian vintage style. This type is named after Queen Victoria of England who lived around 1850. She made her jewelry herself and soon enough she made a new trend in jewelry. This era died when Queen Victoria died around the year 1901.
