Bamboo Window Blinds for the Home
One of my favourite types of blinds are bamboo window blinds. They are a great choice if you want to achieve a more natural look in your home. Unlike cloth or wooden blinds, they are made entirely of natural materials. They also look more natural, because bamboo isn’t straight, and can’t ever be made to look properly straight. In this, it better reflects the uneven lines of the natural world outside of your window. Ironically, bamboo blinds blend much better with the trees outdoors than wooden blinds.
Bamboo window blinds are actually relatively low cost as well. This is because, although individual bamboo is more expensive than alternative materials like wood, it is very thin. This means that much less bamboo is needed to make a window blind than wood, thus lowering the overall cost.
