If you are in search of a good mid-level notebook computer then you should take a look at the 13″ MacBook.  A compact and powerful notebook all in a sleek looking package, the MacBook features great specifications at an affordable price.  It has an Intel Core Duo 2 processor, with enough speed to get through most anything.  I’ve used it for everything from minor music production to graphic design to minor movie production.  The adquate hard drive space has plenty of storage for my large collection of music and pictures.  The keyboard feels natural under my fingers, and while the intelligent mousepad take a few to get used to, it is a great feature.  The DVD/CD drive reads, writes, and re-writes DVDs and CDs.  The screen is perfectly sized for movie watching for one, smaller graphic design projects, and about anything else you could want to do on a notebook.  I love the Mac OS X operating system, but it does take a little bit to get used to.  I would definitely give the MacBook a chance.  Go try one out for yourself.
