Differential diagnoses

Sometimes dementia is very hard to diagnose for professional caregivers. There are a number of conditions that look a like dementia ans have the same symptoms of dementia. One possible condition that is a like is depression. When you are depressed you can not concentrate on things and you have memroy loss too. Especially with older people it is sometimes difficult to diagnose depression of dementia or keep them apart from eachother. Another condition that has some similarities is A Delirium. When someones body is out of inner control cause of outer damage, this could be a delirium. People will get confused and have problems concentrating and sometimes have hallucinations. These are things that could also be seen with people who have dementia. Delirium is the most underdiagnosed condition in hospitals today.
