Experience the History in Folsom, California

Living in Folsom, California has been a great experience. I recently looked for Folsom Ca homes for sale info online and purchased a wonderful of my own. Living in Folsom has been one of the best things that has ever happened to me. Being that I love history, I have been privileged to learn and experience the history of this beautiful area. There is much to learn about this quaint city located at the beginning of the El Dorado Hills. With Rolling hills and large oak trees, this city I call home is gorgeous. The Folsom History Museum located on Sutter Street in Old Town Folsom tells about the city’s great past. In many areas of town the remains of the 1849 gold rush is still visible. Large mounds of rocks near the river, shows the work these miners performed in search for gold. Even though the gold rush was short lived lasting only two years, it left a lasting impact on this city. The Folsom Prison Museum tells about how the prison was established and the changes that it has gone through. The Folsom Powerhouse is the only 19th century powerhouse in the country open to the public. Declared as a National Landmark, you can take tours through the facility and learn about how the powerhouse gave power through out the city. Explore the History in this city and learn about how this town has impacted this regional area in so many different ways. It will be an exciting and fun adventure.
