Futon Mattress Information
Choosing a futon mattress isn’t as simple as you think. You first need to determine what you will be using the futon for. If you are after a cheap bed that will be used occasionally by guests then you can get away with a thin, foam mattress. However, if you are looking for a bed that will be used frequently and are willing to spend a bit of money then a futon mattress with a inner spring system is best.
Of course, there is also the size of the mattress. If one person will be sleeping on the futon and they are not too tall then a twin size mattress would be okay. However, for couples or larger persons you will need either a full size or queen size futon mattress.
