Helping Someone Get a Bad Credit Car Loan

Unfortunately my brother has never been a responsible person.  He’s funny, sure, but absent minded as he can possibly be.  I swear he has the worst credit rating of any person that I know, mostly because he forgets to pay his bills not because he can’t actually cover his debts.  When he told me that he wanted to purchase a new vehicle under the CARS program, I was not surprised.  He may be absent minded, but he is always looking for a good deal.  The problem that he ran into, though was that he had been late on enough payments to slip into a state of bad credit.  While he did his homework and shopped around for a car loan for people with bad credit, there weren’t too many options available for him.  Finally, after following some bad credit car loan tips, I agreed to cosign a loan with him so that he could buy his new car.  I also made the bank take the payments out automatically!
