How To Use A Carpet Shampooer

You can rent or buy a carpet shampooer for you home these days. You no longer have to have a professional do the work for you. Doing it yourself will save money and you will know that it is being done right. They can be a little expensive but if you find one with the accessories you need you might be able to find one cheap. Basically a carpet shampooer looks like a vacuum cleaner but it has a tank where the bag would be that holds the shampoo detergent. There is a hose that runs from the tank to the brush which dispenses the detergent while the brush spins to break up the dirt and stains. You want it to get really foamy so it will get the job done. Don’t soak the carpet, just let the soap foam as much as you can. After you have washed the carpet you have to wait a few hours to let it break everything down then you can vacuum up the rest.
