Is the Asus 1008HA a perfect netbook for girls?
I’m sure you’re aware Asus offers lots of versions of netbooks these days and their EEE PC is the most popular brand in this segment. When netbooks first entered the market, they mainly addressed kids and feminine potential customers, as they were smaller and lighter. As screen size increased, so did weight, and while the first netbooks weighed just 2 pounds, they now passed the 3 pounds margin.
However, Asus has an exception, the 1008HA version, the one i consider would be a perfect pick for a girl. Let’s just see why:
- first of all, it’s ligther than the standard 10″ netbook, weighing just 2.4 pounds
- then, it’s also more compact, being just 1 inch thick
- it’s very well built and with an exlcusive attention to details
- it’s glossy so you girls can use it as a mirror from time to time
- it’s poweful enough for every day applications a not to pretentious customer would run
And of course there are some other aspects about this device you can find from this Asus EEE PC 1008HA review. Unlike its bigger brother, this comes with a smaller autonomy of just 6 hours and costs a little more, around $410. But i believe it’s worth it if you’re looking for a stylish fancier netbook that’s even easier to carry around than the standard mini laptop. And i also believe this device is perfect for a girl, my girlfriend has one as she’s completely satisfied with it.
