Modern Tub Chair Designs
Tub chairs have retained their classic shape over the years, with the low slung back and the high arm rest positions. They give very good comfort for those who sit in them, which is why they are so popular. However, modern designers are consistently coming up with fresh and unique designs whilst retaining the original tub chair shape.
The most common design is the more compact style with relatively short legs, but you can now buy tub chairs with just a single central leg, that can still provide good support and comfort. Longer legged styles are being used in kitchens and go well with breakfast bars. They add a bit of class and something different to any room, especially the kitchen, where you would not expect to find them.
A wide variety of materials and colours will also help to blend the chair into it’s surroundings. Plastic is typically used in the kitchen, so adding a plastic tub chair will complement the ambience, and will also offer more durability.
