New Torrent World Blog Introduction – Torrent Guide Database
Torrents are one of the most effective means of sharing information available on the internet today. They allow users to establish a remote connection to another computer and transfer files of all sizes directly between peers. This system where two peers can connect directly without the need for a central server where the information is stored is known as a peer to peer (or p2p) file transfer. Torrents improve on the basic foundation of the p2p network, adding additional options for security and customization. Just a few years ago there were only a handful of websites who hosted .torrent files for the public. Websites that host these .torrent file directories, and allow for peers to connect to transfer the information, are known as “torrent trackers”. As these torrent trackers become more common, general torrent use and knowledge is also spreading; and there are now hundreds of public and private torrent sites throughout the internet.
For anyone who is new to torrents, or doesn’t understand how they work, it can seem intimidating sorting through these sites and knowing which ones can be trusted. I have personally used torrents to enjoy many forms of media over the past 5 years, and it is my main source for all television and most movies these days. Since I enjoy using torrents so much, and have gotten so much entertainment through their use over the years, I wanted to create a site that could introduce and explain torrents in more detail to the general public. In order to do this I recently started my Torrent World Blog. This blog contains an archive of my current torrent guides to date, and it is constantly being updated. Each guide is hosted on a hub, and the archive of torrent guide topics is very easy to find at the top right hand of my blog page.
If you are at all curious about how torrent transfers work, or thinking about using them in the future, I encourage you to check out my Blog: Torrent World-New Torrent Guides Constantly Added
