Beauty Salons that Come to Your Home

There are several situations I can think of where you may have a need for the beauty salon to come to you, rather than you going to it.  This can seem a little lavish on the surface and maybe a little irresponsible with your money, but when you consider these situations, you may change your mind.

Mobile beauty salons bring style to your home when you either don’t have time to go to them or when, in the case of your wedding day, you want to make sure you look your best at precisely the time it matters most.  Whether you’re the bride or in the bridal party, you don’t want to risk ruining your makeup moments before you’re supposed to walk down the aisle and all eyes are on you.

Hosting a party at your home may also leave you in a situation where it’s best to have the beauty salons services at your home. You’ve already got a very busy day and you don’t want to have to drive across town at the last minute to have yourself look your best.

Yes, some would say it’s a bit lavish, but honestly, the benefits can often outweigh the cost.  It’s a call you have to make, but I would encourage you to take a look into it.

Makeup & Cosmetics Basics: Learning How to Apply Makeup

When glamour and fashion rule the world, it is not simply an option but a necessity to understand the basics of makeup. Are you one among the many individuals who wants to apply makeup but does not know how to? Don’t worry! In this article, we’ll talk about some very important makeup advice essentials as well as general rules to follow when learning how to apply cosmetics.

The most basic component of a makeup kit is the foundation. Like the name says, this is the first product that goes on your face. There are few points that you need to keep in mind while shopping for a good foundation.

First of all, do not try on the foundation either on your wrist or on the back of your palm. The best way to shop for the right foundation is by applying the product on the jaw line of your face and observing it in various lighting angles. The right foundation either matches your skin tone or is a shade lighter than your skin tone.

The next product that needs to go into your makeup kit is the concealer. This is a product that hides the blemishes on your face. Do not apply it liberally since it tends to looks cakey. Instead, use it sparingly and you’ll find that you are able to achieve much better results. This product is generally used around the nose region and also to hide the dark circles under the eye. Just like the foundation, you will have to test the concealer around the region of the face and neck and see what best suits you. Avoid using it on your wrists to test the product.

With the foundation and concealer in place, the next product you need to have is blush. This product is used to highlight your cheek bones and add color to them. Here again, the most common mistake people commit is that they apply it so liberally that it makes their cheeks look overly pink – which ruins the natural beauty component of the makeup look. Instead take a brush and apply it in gentle strokes on your cheek bones. You can also make the blush look subtle by applying some amount of powder over it.

The most important part of a person’s face is the eyes. The eyes are said to be the reflection of your soul. They need to look good at all times to leave an ever lasting impression. There are four main things to consider when applying eye makeup. The first basic step is to apply eye shadow. These products come in a variety of shades. Choose the one that suits the occasion. For office wear, you might want to consider something more professional. But if you’re attending a social gathering, party or other type of celebration you can try something bolder.

After the eye shadow, apply an eyeliner. You will need practice in order to use the eye liner the right way. You will have to draw a thin line very close to the eye lashes.

Once you’ve finished the eyeliner, the next thing that you need for the eyes is mascara. Do not dab the mascara onto your lashes. Instead use gentle strokes to ensure that they even spread onto the lashes. Use less mascara on the lower lashes than on the upper ones.

Finally, the last product for your eyes is your eyebrow pencil. Be sure not to darken your eyebrows using these pencils. Instead just highlight them slightly so they stand out beautifully. Remember, less is more in this case, and with most aspects of your makeup and cosmetics routine.

Once you are done with your eyes, use a natural shade lip liner and then apply some shiny lip gloss to top off your look. As we’ve mentioned before, don’t go overboard! You just want to create a soft, shiny, natural look for your lips.

With a little practice, and a little feedback from your fashion forward friends, you’ll be a pro in no time! And, by applying makeup the right way, you can ensure that you leave a lasting impression on the minds of everyone you meet.

The Science of Benzoyl Peroxide

Benzoyl peroxide is one of the chemicals from the family of organic peroxides. Benzoic and carboxylic acids are two types of acid from the benzoic group that is joined by one peroxide group to form benzoyl peroxide. The preparation for its synthesis usually includes reacting sodium peroxide with benzoyl chloride to produce sodium chloride. This chemical is one of the most frequently used treatments for skin problems and other secondary uses. Readily available in the market and over-the-counters, it is preferred by people because they need not have medical prescriptions from doctors to acquire one. Cream medication products made from such chemical has long been trusted for decades because of its effectiveness. However, people are also advised to be cautious when using products made from this it because just like any other products, it may have potential side effects for the body.

Get Baking Soda Hair

Sounds gross but the truth is baking soda hair is an awesome thing. When you switch out your regular shampoo and start using a mixture of baking soda and water, your hair will love you.  Learn how to make baking soda hair wash and you’ll learn how to have squeaky clean hair that has more body, dries faster, and after regular use becomes stronger.

The baking soda is a natural product, unlike you shampoos that are full of chemicals. You can do two things. You can switch out your shampoo completely and begin doing only the baking soda hair wash permanently or you can use the baking soda hair recipe in place of you regular shampoo to give an extra edge removing the build up of hair products.

Either are awesome. One benefit of switching completely to this natural hair wash method is that you will begin to be able to wash your hair much less. Some people washing their hair as little as once every 5 days and still maintaining great looking hair.

Beauty is Out of Control

Today it’s impossible to know what people actually look like.  People have everything done from hair transplants, sex changes (or gender alteration as the political camp would like me to say) acne scar removal, and plastic surgery.  When do we become unrecognizable to each other?  When will people no longer say “You have you mother’s face” because you have horrendous physical appearance genetics from two made “beautiful” people.

There is some good that can come from this aesthetics craze:

  1. Since everyone looks better now you’ll be more likely to choose people to be with (marry or whatever) based on their compatibility with you and not on their looks alone.  This should lead to healthier relationships.
  2. There will be less discrimination in the at work based on  a person’s looks since the average appearance of people will be higher than before, this should lead to better worker productivity since people are being employed based on their skills.
  3. Those who had traumatic injuries will be able to return to a more normal life causing less self esteem issues.
