Dorm room furniture often leaves something lacking: storage. Ironic is it not? I suppose the companies take the logical point that if you are living in a tiny little dorm, any furniture and dorm-related storage is going to also be smaller.
But I was pleasantly surprised to see the rule broken when I got my birthday present in the mail from my Aunt Jean. I told everyone I only wanted items that would reduce the amount of clutter in here, not add to i! Consequently, people sent me many things along those lines – closet organizers, shoe racks, a nice bookshelf, and so on. Aunt Jean sent me something cooler though – a portable closet. It took me only a minute to unpack it and set it up and now all of a sudden I have a nice looking closet that holds just as much as the built in dorm room closet. Trying to keep my clothes sorted here in this new space, with only the one somewhat cramped closet, was a big hurdle in staying organized. Now, with this portable closet, I can easily store all my clothes and not impeded on my roommates space.

Closets come in all shapes and sizes. If you have a huge walk in closet then it is much easier to organize all your shirts, shoes, and pants. However, most people do not have that luxury. Average people tend to have closets that are just a bit too small to hold all their stuff. When this is the case you should think about looking into closet organizer systems to add to your home. These systems can change your entire way of life. You will now be able to keep all your shirts together in a more effective way. Let’s say you want to group all your dress shirts and then group all your t-shirts. Well, with this system you will now be able to do just that and keep other clothing organized as well.

One day my dream is to have a house that has the best closet organizers in every room. I look forward to the day where I can go to a built-in closet that has all of the pullout drawers and all of the special shelves for my shoes. I don’t even want a traditional closet. I want a room probably the bathroom that opens up to a space that will be a wall of built in closets. I hate feeling claustrophobic in my closet and it keeps me from being in there for very long and it makes it more difficult to keep things clean. I really think that doing this will also greatly increase the value of my home. I really like the idea of there being a place for everything to go into. I don’t even mind getting rid of some things so that this dream can become a reality.
