Using A Closet Shoe Organizer

When you get a show shelf or closet shoe organizer and put it on the floor, then you can bring all your shoes up off the ground and get them taking up “aerial” space. (This is the now shelf space.) Now jackets can hang down lower, or some shoe boxes or other items can be brought down off the top shelf and placed on the ground. Then you can put something new in that new open space.

Other forms of the closet organizer will delicately “squash” your hanging clothes so that they are now only taking up one fourth of the volume that they previously were taking up. So you can hang all your little used clothes in the side of the closet and actually have some room to operate for the first time in a long time.

The Dream of Organization

One day my dream is to have a house that has the best closet organizers in every room. I look forward to the day where I can go to a built-in closet that has all of the pullout drawers and all of the special shelves for my shoes. I don’t even want a traditional closet. I want a room probably the bathroom that opens up to a space that will be a wall of built in closets. I hate feeling claustrophobic in my closet and it keeps me from being in there for very long and it makes it more difficult to keep things clean. I really think that doing this will also greatly increase the value of my home. I really like the idea of there being a place for everything to go into. I don’t even mind getting rid of some things so that this dream can become a reality.

When it comes to home organizing, the one place that we all avoid is the dreaded closet.  It is usually the one room in any home that is neglected time and time again.  Everything starts to pile up until the closet is no longer functional or practical.  But with the help of a few great closet organizers, your home closet can be kept neat and tidy for years to come.

Many people don’t realize that there are many different varieties of organization systems specifically designed for your closet.  The average closet system normally ranges in price from under $50 to a couple hundred dollars with custom designs priced into the thousands.

Closet organizers are also available in a variety of materials.  Some of the most common are wire or mesh, wood and plastic.  Depending on your storage needs, choosing the right type of organizer is very important.

For instance, if you are organizing a child’s bedroom closet a wire closet organizer may suit your needs perfectly.  These kits are easy to assemble, simple to use and are less costly.

But in an adult bedroom closet you may prefer a more appealing and attractive wooden unit that is capable of storing heavier items and has more available options for hidden storage.

If you have reached this article it is most likely because you are an organization fanatic. You can’t stand living a cluttered, messy life. One area that I always need organized is my closet. If you are trying to get things organized, I would suggest some closet organizers. They just make life easier.

What Exactly is a Closet Organizer?

Well there are basically two trains of thought on closet organization. You can purchase a huge closet organization system that comes with every thing you would ever need. These systems can cost a lot of money. I’ve seen some in the thousands of dollars range.

If you don’t want a complete overhaul in your closet, then you can purchase some random closet accessories: i.e. shoe rack, hangars, rods, shelves, tie organizer, etc. For some people one of these accessories is all it will take to get your closet clean.

In summary if you have a lot of money and want a complete overhaul, why not go for the complete closet organization kit. If you are looking to be financially conservative, try figuring out the problem area in your closet and attacking it with one of the accessories.
