Jolly Balls are pretty much a young horse’s best friend. They will carry them around, kick the ball at each other, throw them in the air, sit on the jolly ball, and sometimes hold them in their mouth and smack themselves in the face. I’m not sure why that’s fun, but the horses sure think they make one fine horse gift. Even the if the ball goes completely flat they seem to enjoy them all the more. Keeping your horses from boredom will keep them out of trouble. Horses that are bored tend to chew on things more, suck wind which can be dangerous, figure out how to open gates, and just generally beat up on the other horses which are less dominant than themselves.
