Some doctors may prefer to simply prescribe you a pain reliever or an anti-inflammatory drug. Although, it is important to remember why you are having these headaches in the first place. They are called TMJ headaches because TMJ is the cause. So addressing your TMJ should be the doctors’ first priority.
