LPN Jobs And Shift Working Explained

When considering a role as a Licensed Practical Nurse, or LPN one of the important aspects not to overlook is how you believe you will achieve the balance between work and life.  LPN jobs are often both physically and emotionally demanding and this can certainly take its toll on you ability to get the most out of your recreational time.

If as an LPN you have a job in a hospital, a care home for the elderly, or a nursing home then you may well be required to work shifts.  Working shifts can mean you work from early morning to early afternoon, or early afternoon through to late evening.

Shift working may also involve night shifts.  As a result the demands of LPN jobs on peoples free time do need to be managed carefully.
