If you own a hot tub you might want to consider adding hot tub accessories to try to get the most fun out of your purchase. There are several things that you can buy in order to get a more enjoyable experience. First, cupholders around the spa are always nice. Let’s say you want to relax with a beer or a glass of wine after a hard day’s work. You don’t want that to be ruined by spilling a your drink. Another thing you can add is a deck around the hot tub. This allows you to get in and out of the tub much easier. I would also recommend adding some outdoor speakers so you can enjoy music in your tub while you relax. Thus, the next time you are out shopping consider this bit of advice.

It’s summertime and if you happen to be one of the lucky homeowners that owns an inground pool, its time to get wet and cool off. Temperatures are rising and nothing helps to take the heat off than a fun afternoon in the pool. Swimming alone can be fun, but introducing pool accessories and toys can bring your pool part to the next level. Two of the best pool party accessories these days are the basketball hoop and the volleyball net.
Shooting B-ball in the pool is always a fast way to get a party going. The basketball hoops can come in a variety of materials and sizes. Just make sure the ball fits through the hoop. Also make sure that the hoop you buy can be safetly anchored to the pool deck. Most hoops will have a base that fills with water or sand to make them heavy and solid. The last thing you want while making your dunk from downtown, is to have the hoop come falling on your head.
Volleyball is another great pool activity that will be great for large groups. The bigger the inground pool the better. Whats great about this activity is you can use the same volleyball net that you use in your backyard to play in your swimming pool (at least for most pool designs – always measure first). Again just make sure the net is anchored or weighted down so that it doesn’t injure anyone. Once you have the net up and the poles secured, let it rip and spike it in your opponent’s face.
Both of these inground pool accessories are cheap to setup, easy to play and will bring hours of fun to any party. Make sure to hit the store or repurpose your existing equipment next time you throw a pool party. If these two activities don’t float your boat, visit a pool supply store in your local neighborhood. There are plenty more games and toys to spice up the party. Enjoy your summer!
