Monster Rubber Floor Mats
I purchased a used Volkswagen Rabbit that came without the floor mats last April. This left me with a dilemma. What kind of floor mats should I get for my beloved car? My boyfriend recommended the rubber “Monster Mats” that VW sells for their models. Many people I talked to said not to get them, that they were too ugly looking. I decided to go ahead and get them since they had little rabbit icons on the bottom edge and they were made for VW. These were a great purchase! If they get a little dirty, just take them out and shake them to get loose dirt and rocks off. If you have more time, hose them down and they look brand new. You don’t have to deal with vacuuming carpet floor mats where dirt and hair stick to the fibers. Also, you don’t have to worry too much about getting into your car with wet, snowy or even muddy feet.
The monster rubber floor mats cost around $100, $40 less than the VW premium mats which came with the car when it was new. Rubber mats should last longer than carpet mats and will probably have to be replaced less often. Overall, they will result in less worries – and a cleaner floor for your car!
