Can You Afford A Treadmill?

Some people cannot afford to go out and buy themselves a brand new electrical treadmill and especially not in the time of a financial crises where more and more people are losing their jobs and their homes. Luckily this is not everyone and even for the ones that are still working a job the need for proper exercise still exists. So instead of buying a brand new treadmill you can go shop for one that has been used slightly. Once you start looking for used treadmills you’ll discover that they are the majority. The reason is that most people that have bought treadmills and that are now selling them are doing so because they never really got around to using them and they’ll therefore want to get rid of them. It is sad for them and their health but great news for you.

3 Advantages of a Portable Treadmill

There are probably a lot more advantages of a portable treadmill than three, but these three at some of the most commonly recognized plusses. First we have the advantage of being easier to move around. Because it is portable it is also a lot lighter than normal treadmill equipment. Even though it is called “portable” you probably wouldn’t want to take it with you when going for a walk. Secondly these machines are often not quite as big as their bigger cousins and will therefore be easier to hide in closets or under the bed. Finally the third advantage is that they are often a lot let expensive. Because of the light weight and the smaller size the material costs are much lower and the price is therefore lower. Unfortunately the quality of the treadmill will often also be lower than the more expensive machines.

Getting Bigger Arms

If you want to get bigger arms, then you need to do bicep workouts like curls with dumbbells or barbells. Generally, if you want to gain an inch in diameter, you need to gain about 10 pounds. The key to getting stronger more muscular biceps is by pushing your muscles through extreme resistence. When you workout, your muscle fibers actually tear up. When this happens, your body automatically starts to repair it, making your muscles stronger. This is how you build muscles.

As for biceps, a great way to work them out is by using the pyramid rep technique. Basically, after you’re done warming up, you will choose a weight that you an only do 6-8 slow reps with. This will be your first set. Each set following this, you will increase the weight and do 2 less reps. So for the second set, you will do 6-8 reps. You will do this for 4 sets. Your last set will consist of curling a weight that you can only do 1-2 reps. The reason for doing this is to force your muscles to grow by causing it to tear. It sounds bad but this is normal. The key is to be consistent.
