Common Sense Is The Best Way To Lose Weight

Imagine you are at your ideal weight. You feel energetic, confident, and are able to complete tasks with ease. You don’t have aches and pains. You are not in danger of heart disease or diabetes. The best way to lose weight is to use your common sense and ignore all of the hype.

A friend of mine struggled most of his life with his weight. He constantly moved from one diet to the next in search for a way to lose weight. One day he asked me, “If you were me, how would you lose weight?” I told him to use his common sense and ignore the hype. So he did. A few weeks later and a few pounds lighter, I asked him how he did it. “Simple. I cut back on the junk, drank more water, and exercised.”

Don’t look for the magic answer. It’s not to be found. Yes, a lot of diets will help you lose weight, but remember to use your common sense. If it sounds too good to be true, it is.
