The Joy of Photographing a Wedding

A word from a wedding photographer:
“I love photographing weddings. Honestly, I think it’s the greatest privilege of all to be able to capture all the sweet memories during the day as a gift to the bride and the groom. When taking pictures, I try to think outside of the box, because I don’t want everyone’s weddings to look the same. The bride and the groom certainly don’t want that. Before the wedding, I like to sit down with the bride and groom to get to know them. My main goal is to understand who they are as a couple, what they love, and what they want to remember about their wedding. From there, I make a list of the kinds of shots I want and come to the wedding prepared. It’s my job to capture every part of the day so not a single moment is forgotten in the aftermath. And, I wouldn’t trade my job for anything. Being a wedding photographer is, in my opinion, the best job in the world!”
