Video or Audio Baby Monitors?
As technology has progressed, so has the average baby safety monitor. These are very popular devices that allow you to monitor your child, while you are not in the room. You can hear your child wherever you are in the house, and know when they need you. However, the choice has now become greater, as there are now video monitors available too. This means that you can not only hear your child, you can also watch them too. There are of course some negatives to the video baby monitor. They become less portable, because they are larger, which
means you may not be able to do everything that you can whilst holding an audio monitor. They are also more expensive, as you pay for the video technology. If you have the budget and wish to watch your child sleeping and not just hear them, then a video monitor could be a great choice. However if your budget is a little less, or you are a very active person and want to be able to carry the monitor around with you during daily activities, then an audio baby safety monitor may be the way to go.
