Why I Treat My Gout by Eating Grapes

If you have gout and happen to like grapes you are in luck. I used to suffer from gout on a regular basis, but I hardly ever do now. Part of the reason is because I regularly eat grapes. In fact, they are one of my favorite gout treatments. Here’s a couple reasons why you should consider eating them,too.
Besides the fact that they taste good, grapes are able to help bring your pH levels into balance. This is important because it helps to keep your uric acid from getting out of hand. Grapes have several benefits that help with this disease. From potassium and vitamin C, they hit every aspect of trying to treat this condition.
Grapes also help you lose weight. Weight is normally a problem with gout patients. This important fruit is mostly made of water and it is alkaline water at that. When a person’s diet becomes alkaline instead of acidic, they lose weight. Fat is mostly the body’s way of protecting you from the harmful effects of having a pH level that is acidic. So fix your weight and treat your gout at the same time.
