With all the fallout of the bursting of the debt bubble it is unfortunate that the folk who have most suffered have been the ones least well equipped to cope with it. If fault were to be allocated there is no doubt that 90% of fault would be placed firmly on the shoulders of the reckless banks and their reckless lending practices. It is a shame that although the investors in these banks have suffered somewhat the fact of the matter remains that they have suffered nowhere near as much as the poor folk who are now really experiencing the consequences of the aftermath of the property boom.
